i bought
angels on bare skin cleanser
smells very green [think hemp] with a little lavendar. some people might find it hard to get used to, but i like it. its a hard cleanser, which means you have to mix it with water to work. it it's also a scrub thanks to the ground almonds in it. you take a pinch of it in your hand and mix it with a little water until it turns into a paste. massage it all over your face, especially cheeks or places that get flaky or dried out. it makes your skin feel like a baby's ass. no joke :] this is good for sensitive skin because it doesn't cause irritation, but any skin type can make good use of the scrub and soft skin benefits.
herbalism cleanser
smells crazy like vinegar. some people would hate this because of the smell but it grows on you. it totally wakes you up and clears your sinuses. it's all green and it has china clay in it which is good for detoxifying the skin. this cleanser has ground almonds in it as a scrub ingredient like aobs does, but it also has rice bran so you'll get a matte look after you wash your face, and it doesn't get all tight feeling like other cleansers.
strawberry feels forever
this is a massage bar. it comes in a solid form [in the shape of a strawberry:D] and you rub it wherever you need a little moisture, and it turns into a moisturizing oil. it smells sickeningly sweet but not in a bad way. probably my favorite thing i bought from lush today because it smells so good <3
avobath bath bomb
like most lush bombs, this bath bomb is huge. this one in particular is green [my favorite color:D] and has lemongrass in it with oils to soften your skin in the bath. it smells really good, it just reminds me of a summer day after it.s just rained or something. it's whatever & watever is good.
pink with a splash in fruity & bright
i have absolutely no clue what 'fruit and bright' means, but this thing smells goooood! my only complaint is that i wish the smell lasted longer :o
beauty rush body double mists in juiced berry & honey do
i love body double mists because they moisturize your skin and have a scent. when you buy a bottle, it is separated into two parts, a colored part [which is the moisturizing oil] and a clear part, which is the scent. you shake up the bottle to mix the two together and then spray. after you.re done, the two start to seperate again in little bubbles, which i admit is pretty cool to watch. the juiced berry one smells a little like their discontinued strawberry fizz scent. it smells like freshly squeezed strawberries and raspberries which kinda just makes me want to drink it? the honey do scent obviously smells like honeydew, which is awesome, because there are so few products that smell like that fruit & it.s a shame because it smells so fresh & summery
beauty rush 3 in one wash for shower bath & hair in candy baby
i got this because now that i live at my boyfriend.s house, there.s less room for all my girly shower/bath shit in the shower. this thing gets rid of 3 bottles. it works as a bubble bath, a body wash & a shampooooo. finding one that is also a shampoo is like uber hard to find, besides the ones at philosophy. this one smells like, well. candy. but not that gross little kid cotton candy smell. it doesn.t smell cheap. it.s more refined and less sweet. my hair is going to smell like own.
lemon & pomegranite body wash
okay, okay. so i was downsizing with the 3 in one bottle thing. then i said fuck it. what.s one more tube. this stuff smells awesome. it has just a tiny note of lemon to make it smell fresh & wake you up, but the pomegranite is the main smell here. and it smells good. it smells like pomegranite juice in soap form? i.e. it owns.
my favorite lip balm
this is actually my favorite lip balm because it has 5% shea butter and sweet almond oil which makes it taste just a tiny bit sweet, but not too much that i.m licking my lips all the time so they.ll get more chapped. this used to come in a little lip balm tub but i couldn.t find one today so maybe it got discontinued in that container. which is kind of a good thing because now i don.t have to touch it with my finger. good product with improved packaging. it doesn.t make your lips sticky like some lip balms, just smooth and a little shiny, but not valley girl shiny.
vitamin mentha balm in poppy pink mint
this is the perfect color for my skin tone. it.s kind of like a flushed pink, bright but not gaudy bright. it looks sweet not slutty. when i put this on it lights up my whole face. if you feel lazy in the morning but want to look like you took time to get ready just put on some mascara and this stuff in whatever color is good with your skin. you.ll look hot, trust me.
mentha lip balm stick [no shine formula]
this is my second favorite lip balm. it has 10% shea butter. and that was not a typo. not 1%. ten percent. shea butter is better for your lips than petroleum jelly [which is what.s used in most chapsticks]. petroleum jelly = vaseline. it moisturizes your lips temporarily, but then they just dry out again because the petroleum jelly can.t sink into your skin. shea butter is like a drink for your lips. it makes them smooth and soft and it doesn't leave them dry later. the no shine formula is a definite plus, because it.s hard to find something for your lips that is matte. it smells like mint and it feels cool on your lips when you apply it, which is great for hot summer days when you feel all eughfjdhl. <3
